alphaJET Industrial Inkjet Coder Integrates with Jacob White Sleeving Machine

Published23rd April, 2015

Jacob White and alphaJET intoPrintSafe has supplied an alphaJET into continuous inkjet printer to packaging machine manufacturer Jacob White for integration in a sleeving machine for a leading British Bacon producer.

The Jacob White SLX-3 Semi-Automatic Horizontal Sleever automatically erects sleeves ready for operators to insert the product. Once loaded, the sleeves pass underneath the alphaJET into print head to be coded with a ‘Use-By’ date and country of origin.

Commenting on the experience of integrating the alphaJET printer, Geoff Phillips, Jacob White UK Sales Manager said: “Working with PrintSafe was very straightforward. Their equipment proved efficient and the customer service was good. When ordering the sleever, our customer specified an alphaJET INTO inkjet as they already had these onsite on their offline sleeve feeding machines. The PrintSafe engineer came to our site to install the inkjet ready for final acceptance testing of the sleever. The same engineer also attended site during installation to provide additional user training to operators across all shifts.”
