The alphaJET tempo continuous inkjet printer, from Koenig & Bauer Coding, is a specialist continuous inkjet (CIJ) designed for high-speed printing applications. It prints up to 4 lines with 24 vertical drops. The high-speed CIJ delivers a maximum print speed of 600 m/minute (at 2.5mm character width). With specialist PVC and abrasion-resistant inks, it is ideally suited to the cabling industry where fast re-wind speeds are needed.

With the tempo, you can print up to 4 lines, with 24 droplets. Additional software modules and accessories let you customise the printer for specialist applications including cable extrusion (e.g. PE/HDPE sheath) and fibre optic cable marking.
The extensive Koenig & Bauer alphaJET ink range (around 100 different inks) includes black, high-contrast, PVC, UV fluorescing and other special process inks.
